Measurement Functions

Block size:Adjustable between 2 & 20 single readings per block

Tolerance limits:Adjustable as per the selected measuring mode

Offset value:In the standard mode, the freely adjustable offset value is reduced automatically from the calculated value. Hence, one obtains the width of the top coating if for example the interim coating is recognized.

Calibration:Factory calibration

Each DFT Meter MP0R is factory calibrated at a number of reference points with the utmost care to make sure the highest possible degree of trueness.

Corrective calibration (Adjustment)

Adaptation to the substrate material as well as the shape of the specimen and to a thickness value employing a calibration foil.

Simple Calibration

Adaption to the substrate material and coating in one step with a coated reference part and coating thickness higher than 200m (7.87 inches). This calibration supplies a lower precision as available in the sections Repeatability Precision and Trueness.
